Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Site Observation Specialist to perform job site observations of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with plans and codes. The role involves documenting field conditions, interfacing with engineers, and contributing to resolution of nonconformances.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in design, installation, and construction administration of electrical systems, with strong reading of blueprints and ability to work independently with occasional mentoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Discipline-specific certifications preferred; Valid driver's license.
• 3+ years' experience in the design, installation and construction administration of systems.
• Relevant site observation or inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs job site observations to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, designs, codes, standards and regulations.
• Documents site and field conditions and participates in discussions to determine appropriate resolution to nonconformance.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and construction specifications.
• Assists in the preparation of system layout, detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications based upon site observation.
• Prepares clear and accurate responses and reports to contractors who are submitting documents for review.
