Job summary

Dürr Systems, LLC is seeking a capable supervisor to lead electrical panel and wiring cost estimation, resource planning, and procurement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes accurate cost control, schedule adherence, and collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with electrical panels, union relations, and process optimization, while working with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Eight or more years of related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Understanding of control panel assembly costs and timelines.
  • Knowledge of union collective bargaining agreements.
  • Experience with paint finishing processes and related systems.

Responsibilities

  • Estimate control panel and product wiring costs.
  • Generate electrical manufacturing cockpit charts.
  • Manage the control panel assembly process and allocate resources to meet project schedules.
  • Maintain and update the database of electrical product costs/history.
  • Update maintenance procedures and records for equipment.
  • Attend and input manufacturing strategy meetings.
  • Purchase electrical components.
  • Administer union personnel decisions including hiring and layoffs.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction in electrical panel shop.

  • Maintain and update the database of electrical product costs / history
  • Update and maintain equipment preventative maintenance procedures and records
  • Attend and input manufacturing strategy meetings
  • Purchase electrical components
  • Management and control of union personnel including hiring and layoffs
  • Establish and maintain electrical panel shop continuous improvement and cost reduction programs

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of union collective bargaining agreements
  • Good understanding of assembly and construction processes as they relate to time impacts on product and fabrication costs
  • Good understanding of and experience with paint finishing related products and systems
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Ability to understand and maintain project schedules
