Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical service, maintenance, or installation experience.
• State Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred; valid driver’s license.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring methods, panels, load calculations, grounding/bonding, and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards; PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• High school diploma or GED; vocational training preferred.
• Professional communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical circuits, panels, switches, outlets, and lighting.
• Perform new circuit installations, lighting upgrades, panel replacements, EV chargers, and other system enhancements.
• Conduct routine inspections and load testing to prevent breakdowns and ensure code compliance.
• Ensure NEC, NFPA, and company safety standards; pass inspections and meet local codes.
• Document materials used, time, and notes on work performed in service tickets.
• Explain repair options and provide recommendations to improve system performance or safety.
• Coordinate with supervisors, dispatchers, and other trades to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain company tools, testing equipment, and service vehicle in clean and working order.
