Mechanical One, LLC is hiring a residential electrical service technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade electrical systems directly in homeowners’ properties in Orlando, FL. This role involves doing service calls, warranty work, and upgrades while adhering to code requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, identifying issues, installing and repairing wiring and fixtures, inspecting components for safety, and communicating clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years residential electrical experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of local and federal electrical codes.
• Willingness to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working on customer sites.

Description

We are looking for a residential electrical service technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade electrical systems and equipment directly in homeowners' properties.

• Customer facing for service calls, warranty calls upgrades to electrical systems. Code knowledge is a must.
• Identify issues and offer solutions.
• Installing and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential new construction homes.
• Inspecting components to ensure safety and correct installation.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, to identify where the wiring is or should go.
• Maintaining safety standards.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Able to read and follow blueprints.
• Fully understands local and federal regulations for safe electrical system.
• Must be willing to operate a company vehicle.
• Must have at least 2 years of electrical residential experience
• Must have a Valid Driver's license and clean MVR report.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders and work in attics per OSHA guidelines.
• Self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
