Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. seeks a Service Technician to perform electrical service installations, alterations, and repairs across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will read drawings, terminate cables, and install conduit with limited supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating tasks with the crew, maintaining tools and vehicle, and ensuring safety and code compliance. A high school diploma or GED and relevant license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; journeyperson license where required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability per company policy.
• Under 6 years electrical experience accepted; NEC/state/local codes compliance.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to interpret and apply safety rules on site.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints and ladder logic.
• Terminate cables, install and troubleshoot control wiring.
• Accurately bend and install conduit of various types.
• Perform terminations/splicing of high voltage and fiber optic cables.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks with crew to meet deadlines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle; document progress daily.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with NEC and local codes.
