Job summary

HomePro is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to join our Texas-based team. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential electrical systems and support customers on-site, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in residential electrical service, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Home automation experience is a plus and training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential electrical service.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with home automation/electrical installation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in residential areas.
• Provide on-site technical support to customers.
• Maintain service vehicle and ensure equipment is accounted for.
• Follow safety procedures during tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.

The Electrical Service Technician's main responsibilities entail installation, maintenance, and general electrical services for our customers. Serving as our representative on-site, your role is crucial in ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties

• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components in residential areas.
• Providing technical support to customers
• Maintaining service vehicle and ensuring all equipment is accounted for.
• Following safety procedures during execution of tasks.
• Performing any additional duties as necessary.
• Additional responsibilities assigned by the manager

Necessary Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with electrical systems and components
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Valid driver's license
• Valid Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician License

Required Education & Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in Residential Electrical service is required
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Prior experience in home automation/electrical installation is a major advantage
