Job summary

Hiller Heating and AC in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced electrician to install and upgrade electrical components, including panels and generators. You will service homes, apartments, and small businesses, coordinating with utility providers to ensure code compliance.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of electrical installation/maintenance experience, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and clear communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of service or construction experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Detail-oriented and safety-focused to protect fellow technicians, customers and property.
• Strong team orientation and ability to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or upgrade electrical components including generators, rewires, additions and service panels.
• Provide electrical service and/or repair at homes, apartments, and businesses.
• Coordinate with utility providers and local code officials to ensure compliance.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and use proper PPE.
• Keep truck stocked and inventoried.

Job Responsibilities

Install and/or Upgrade a wide variety of electrical components ranging from generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc...

Provide electrical service and/or repair to customers’ homes, apartments, and businesses

Coordinate with utility service providers (NES, MTEMC, CEMC, etc.) and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established.

Responsible for adhering to all OSHA safety standards and regulations including the use of proper PPE at all times

Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

A minimum of 2 years of service or construction experience preferred in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse electrical service issues.

Must be highly detail-oriented due to the nature of the electrical field in ensure safety for fellow technicians, self, and property.

Must be team oriented

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow coworkers

Education/Certification Requirements

TN State/LLE Electrical License preferred.

A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

A valid driver's license required

Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule and on call schedule

$20 - $35 an hour
