Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical in Alabama is seeking skilled electricians to install and service electrical components for residential and commercial customers. Join a family-owned company with a long track record and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of service or construction experience in electrical work.
• Must be highly detail-oriented to ensure safety for team, property and customers.
• Must be team oriented and able to communicate effectively with customers.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or Upgrade a wide variety of electrical components (generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc.).
• Provide electrical service and/or repair to homes, apartments, and businesses.
• Coordinate with utility providers and local code officials to adhere to guidelines.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and use proper PPE at all times.
• Keep truck clean, stocked and inventoried.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and/or Upgrade a wide variety of electrical components ranging from generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc..


• Provide electrical service and/or repair to customers’ homes, apartments, and businesses


• Coordinate with utility service providers (NES, MTEMC, CEMC, etc.) and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established.


• Responsible for adhering to all OSHA safety standards and regulations including the use of proper PPE at all times


• Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• A minimum of 2 years of service or construction experience preferred in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse electrical service issues.


• Must be highly detail-oriented due to the nature of the electrical field in ensure safety for fellow technicians, self, and property.


• Must be team oriented


• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow coworkers

Education/Certification Requirements:

• TN State/LLE Electrical License preferred.


• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.


• A valid driver's license required


• Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule and on call schedule
