Job summary

McKinstry seeks a Project Manager - Electrical Service to own the full lifecycle of electrical service and small-to-medium projects across commercial facilities and light industrial sites. You will coordinate field teams, manage scope, cost, and schedule, and act as the primary client contact for service accounts.

You will drive proposals, ensure code compliance, and collaborate with multiple internal teams to expand service portfolios while upholding safety standards and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience managing commercial electrical service work or electrical project management.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, Life Safety Codes, and Washington State electrical permitting requirements.
• Experience developing T&M and lump sum estimates and proposals for commercial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of electrical service accounts and owner-direct projects up to $1M.
• Develop scopes of work, estimates, and proposals for new and existing service accounts.
• Coordinate scheduling and dispatch of electricians and service technicians.
• Manage job cost, WIP, and billing for T&M and lump sum projects; prepare change orders and monitor margins.
• Serve as primary client point of contact; support contract renewals and service expansions.
• Grow the electrical service account base through internal and external business development.
