Coolray Heating & Cooling in Nashville seeks an Electrical Service Manager to lead the electrical service team, drive sales, and ensure operational excellence. The role focuses on coaching technicians, improving ticket values, and maintaining high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced HVAC setting.

The ideal candidate will have deep electrical knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires strong electrical knowledge and codes familiarity.
• Leadership in a service context, with focus on sales growth and customer satisfaction.
• Experience with cost estimates, RFIs, and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Develop a culture of performance excellence within the Electrical department.
• Drive department sales through training and development of field technicians.
• Maintain operations through accurate reporting, inventory control, and safety awareness.
• Coach electricians to increase average ticket, closing rate and truck revenue.
• Provide ongoing product and sales training; promote lead generation.
• Monitor callbacks and warranties; address escalated customer concerns with 100% satisfaction.

Who You Are

• Develop a culture of performance excellence to encourage employment growth
• Drive the Electrical department sales through training and development of the field technicians
• Maintain operational excellence through invoice completion, inventory control, safety awareness, and accurate reporting
• Coach electricians on how to increase average ticket, closing rate and monthly truck revenue
• Provide a constant flow of product and sales training
• Promote lead generation
• Monitor and control call backs and warranties
• Handle all escalated customer concerns by demonstrating 100% customer satisfaction
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• An in-depth knowledge of Electrical systems
• Extensive knowledge in local codes and industry standards
• Excellent leadership skills and team mentality to enhance team productivity and standards of work produced
• Ability to build business in the private sector, as well as the public sector
• Background with RFIs, cost estimates (plan/spec and design/build), negotiating, material take-offs, and reading blue prints required
• Ability to layout branch circuiting; to read and understand contract documents, drawings and specifications
• Have an understanding of general electrical design and engineering concepts and have an overall general knowledge of electrical material costs
• Positive energy and enthusiasm to drive sales and company growth
• Ability to prioritize, set goals, and manage multiple tasks, handle deadlines
