As a successful Service Manager at CEC, you are expected to manage all aspects of the service department to ensure its continued profitability and growth. This includes but is not limited to overseeing the daily dispatching and efficiencies of our service technicians and department, reviewing all billing and warranty claims, and interacting with other managers in respect to their warranty, start‑up, and installation needs.
Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects, and smooth operation of the department.
This job may be performed inside or outside with possible exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and weather elements in restricted or confined spaces, on slippery or uneven surfaces, and on ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, and catwalks—typical of heavy construction. The role also operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of the job site in all types of weather, which may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, standing, or stretching. Must occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, move around on the feet regularly, sit for extended periods, and work at a computer for extended periods. May require travel, exposure to characteristic construction site dangers, and the ability to communicate with others both written and orally. Must work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, including overtime, night shifts, and on‑call duties as needed.
