gpac LLC is seeking an Electrical Service Manager to lead the local service team in Mount Airy, MD, focusing on local commercial and industrial work with limited travel.

The role emphasizes advancing service backlog management, safety, and high-quality execution while collaborating with project managers and leadership to grow the local market.

Qualifications

• Previous Electrical Service Manager or Service Project Manager experience.
• Strong commercial/industrial electrical background.
• Ability to lead technicians and manage multiple service jobs.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the electrical service team.
• Oversee service calls, small projects, and special projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate scheduling, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and respond to service needs.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and company leadership.
• Ensure service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
• Support estimating and quoting for service and small project work.
• Troubleshoot field issues and help develop solutions.
• Monitor service backlog and keep work moving.
• Train and mentor service technicians as needed.

A well-established local electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Electrical Service Manager to their team. The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for someone who can lead service work and keep customers taken care of.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Service Manager who wants to grow with an established local contractor and focus on work in the local market rather than constant travel.
