MAGIC ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, HEATING AND AIR in Boise seeks an Electrical Service Apprentice to learn from licensed electricians by diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in homes and businesses. You’ll be hands-on from day one, working on outlets, switches, panels, lighting, and wiring while building a long-term career in the electrical trade.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices.
• Enrollment in or interest in an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical issues.
• Support service calls involving outlets, switches, panels, lighting, and wiring.
• Perform basic service tasks like pulling wires, running conduit, and mounting devices under supervision.
• Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials for each assignment.
• Document job notes, parts used, and photos for each service call.
• Keep job sites and company vehicles clean, safe, and organized.
• Take part in training and safety meetings to build technical and customer service skills.
