Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a qualified electrical maintenance professional to carry out maintenance, fault finding and repairs on large industrial plant across West Midlands sites. The role includes de-commissioning/ commissioning tasks on boilers, water treatment, ASHP and related systems, with front-face client liaison and on-site supervision.

The position requires on-site presence with a 1 in 4 weekend call rota, strong teamwork, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Qualified to C&G level in Electrical Maintenance
• HV Electrically qualified as AP
• Proven ability to fault find on PLC and control systems
• Be pro-active and self-managing and to exercise individual core technical skills effectively
• Excellent communications skills (written, telephone manner/verbal/face to face)
• Good PC skills
• Full Driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out Veolia Planned Preventive Maintenance on mechanical/electrical plant, routine servicing and inspection
• Write permits to works and carry out isolations on equipment
• Maintain high housekeeping and aesthetics around plant, equipment and buildings
• Operate and maintain site main utilities to meet client KPIs
• Work on a 1 in 4 call out / weekend rota and liaise with clients daily
• Interface with the site's CMMS in accordance with procedures
• Provide assistance to contractors on site
