Job summary

Graybar in California is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through formal training and hands-on learning. You will be exposed to all areas of our business and receive specialized training before transitioning into a sales role.

The role focuses on developing product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment, and rotating through sales, logistics, customer service and project processes.

Qualifications

• A 2- or 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution process.
• Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment.
• Rotate through different areas of the business including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional and project processes.
