Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through formal training and hands-on learning. You will rotate through sales, logistics, customer service, and project processes to gain a comprehensive view of the organization.

The program emphasizes product knowledge in electrical, communications, and security equipment, with a typical starting pay of $20 per hour and a schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution process.
• Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment.
• Rotate through different areas of the business including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional and project processes.
