New Jersey Resources is seeking an Electrical Sales Supervisor to oversee electrical operations, support generator installations, and drive growth of generator and electrical service offerings. The role requires maintaining the New Jersey Electrical License and ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

The position leads union-represented electrical personnel and collaborates with sales to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, with on-site responsibilities in NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical operations, including leadership responsibility for personnel and business functions.
• Valid New Jersey Electrical License required.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams, with a strong focus on safety, performance, and customer service.
• Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
• Demonstrated business development or sales support experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, generator, or home services industries.
• Strong knowledge of New Jersey electrical codes, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain NJR Home Services' Electrical License and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead electrical operations, including generator installations and electrical service work.
• Supervise and develop union-represented electrical personnel; promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and training to improve skills and performance.
• Drive growth of generator and electrical service offerings with sales alignment.
• Identify process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency.
• Oversee permitting, code compliance, inspections, and local authority relations.
• Manage tools, materials, inventory and truck stock for efficient field ops.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, customers and internal stakeholders.
