Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. is seeking a dedicated professional to assist in administering the company's electrical safety program. You will organize safety training, develop criteria for technician qualifications, and manage PPE inventory while supporting inspections in-store and in-field.

The role requires training technicians on JSA completion, conducting annual observations, and frequent travel across the Ohio Machinery Co. territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Power Generator Service Technician or similar role with electrical safety background.
• Willing to travel frequently throughout the Ohio Machinery Co. territory with overnight travel required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license that meets company standards for safe driving.
• Willing to participate in the Motus vehicle reimbursement program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administration of the electrical safety program.
• Organize electrical safety training (e.g., NFPA-70E) and conduct classes as needed.
• Develop criteria and evaluate Service Technician qualifications for electrical work on equipment.
• Manage inventory of PPE and vendors; support Safety and Environmental Department inspections.
• Train Technicians on completing JSA/inspections and conduct annual observations.
