Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Safety & Health Representative to plan, develop, and coordinate safety and occupational health for personnel, materials, equipment, and environments to achieve safety excellence in the Utility Division.

They will assist regional Safety representatives, Project Managers, Superintendents and craft personnel to promote safe work practices and conditions across multiple sites with extensive travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management preferred, or related field equivalent experience will be considered.
• 1-3 years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety meetings and on-site safety audits.
• Develop, implement and monitor annual comprehensive Safety Plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Provide safety training and technical support to supervisors and employees.
• Travel extensively to job sites as required.
