Job summary

CR Meyer is seeking an Electrical Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across its Electrical Division for heavy industrial projects. This role involves implementing the company’s risk management program, guiding management and field staff, and ensuring compliance through effective leadership.

The candidate will deliver on-site electrical safety training, participate in pre-project safety planning, and maintain accident documentation.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of health & safety experience in electrical contracting.
• Experience leading safety programs and risk management on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety protocols, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and enforce CR Meyer Risk Management program for electrical services.
• Deliver electrical safety training on-site and coach staff.
• Lead pre-project electrical safety planning with project managers.
• Ensure site audits and corrective actions; issue warnings for unsafe conditions.
