Job summary

TÜV SÜD America is seeking a Technical Lead in Electrical Safety in Alpharetta, GA. You will guide technical direction, mentor engineers, and ensure premier testing, evaluation, and certification services meet regulatory and customer expectations.

Lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and support business development while upholding safety and quality standards across diverse product categories.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with product safety standards such as UL/IEC.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and make technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical excellence, performance, and growth of Electrical Safety department.
• Provide mentorship and direction to engineers and specialists.
• Support project execution, audits, and scope expansion efforts.
• Coordinate with Site Manager to ensure high-quality testing, evaluation, and certification services.
• Stay current with standards, test procedures, and instrumentation; participate in training.
• Assist in training junior staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
