Job summary

ASML US, LLC in San Jose, CA seeks an experienced Electrical Safety Engineer to act as the subject matter expert for electrical safety across development and operations. You will embed safety into product design and workplace practices, collaborating with EHS, design, and manufacturing teams.

You will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, lab inspections, and training, ensuring compliance with SEMI S2, IEC 60204-1, and NFPA 70/70E.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience in electrical safety.
• Experience applying electrical safety standards and conducting risk assessments.
• Experience with EHS processes and systems (Intelex or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions on test setup safety and mitigate risks.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct lab inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety.
• Lead Safety Risk Assessments (SRA) across product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and EHS to embed safety.
