Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Construction Revit Operator to join our VDC Team.

The Construction Revit Operator will develop and maintain construction-ready Revit models and produce coordinated shop drawings to support field operations. Collaborating with Project Managers, Electrical Planning Foremen, and field leadership, you will coordinate installations, perform clash detection, and manage cloud-based models through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years using Revit in an electrical construction, BIM, VDC, or related environment.
• Experience creating shop drawings, coordination drawings, and construction documentation from Revit models.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and electrical construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D Revit models of electrical systems, including power, lighting, telecom, fire alarm, and security systems as required.
• Create views, sheets, details, schedules, and prefabrication components from Revit models.
• Produce accurate and constructible shop drawings, installation details, and field-ready documentation.
• Review and implement project BIM Execution Plans, modeling requirements, and Level of Development (LOD) standards.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Planning Foremen, field leadership, and project teams to coordinate installations and resolve design and construction conflicts.
• Participate in model coordination and clash detection efforts using Navisworks and other BIM tools.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based project models and assist with model management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Actively contribute to a positive team environment.
