Job summary
Type One Energy Group is seeking an Electrical Engineering Resource Manager to optimize the deployment of electrical engineering resources across multiple programs. You will align talent with project priorities, design milestones, and program needs, while maintaining team health and high performance.
You will lead a matrixed team, partner with Engineering Directors and project managers, and participate in design reviews to ensure technical quality, risks are managed, and sustainable workloads
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in complex, high-reliability environments.
- Minimum 5 years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance priorities in staffing decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and give feedback.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize deployment of electrical engineering resources across programs.
- Balance workloads and monitor capacity to prevent burnout.
- Forecast future resource requirements based on schedules and milestones.
- Lead and mentor engineers, participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
- Ensure engineering excellence, quality, and safe, reliable deliverables.
