Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent (or military electronics training) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or CS preferred.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in electronic troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits, boards, and assemblies to component level.
• Analyze analog and digital circuits and troubleshoot issues to board level, checking MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, and transformers.
• Use test equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators, isolation transformers, and programmable AC/DC power supplies.
• Interpret schematics and documentation to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
• Support repair department goals to meet production volume and turnaround targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve repair processes and efficiency.
• Continuously learn new technologies, production systems, and repair methodologies.

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits, boards, and assemblies to component level.
• Analyze analog and digital circuits and troubleshoot issues down to the board level, checking components like MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, and transformers for proper operation and repair.
• Utilize test equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes and function generator, isolation transformers, and programmable AC/DC power supplies
• Interpret schematics and technical documentation to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
• Support repair department goals to meet production volume and turnaround targets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Applied Science or equivalent or equivalent Military Electronics training (e.g., NAVY NEETS / Air Force PMEL)- (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or computer science/engineering (preferred)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronic troubleshooting and repair

Technical Skills

• Strong background in electronic circuit analysis and diagnostics
• Expertise in troubleshooting analog and digital electronics
• Proficient in soldering, desoldering, and component-level repair
• Experience using advanced diagnostic equipment and test systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
