Job summary

Skydio, a leading US drone company, seeks an electrical engineer focused on sustaining products and complex ecosystems through mass production and beyond. You will identify, drive, and close issues while optimizing test processes for reliability.

Responsibilities include owning cross-functional analysis, validating components, performing FA on returns, and driving design changes to improve reliability and manufacturability. FAA 107 readiness is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires strong electrical validation and test experience.
• Ability to root cause PCBA and system-level failures.
• Deep understanding of analog/digital circuit design, power management, and mixed-signal systems.
• Proficiency in schematic design.
• Familiarity with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, DMM, logic analyzers, power analyzers, power supplies, bash scripting).

Responsibilities

• Own deep, cross-functional analysis on complex system-level problems.
• Validate components and subsystems to elevate quality.
• Perform electrical failure analysis on returns, RMAs, and field failures.
• Own and execute design changes to improve reliability and manufacturability.
• Drive PCB changes and validation to address issues or supply chain changes.
