Job summary

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company is seeking an I&E Reliability Engineer for its Sweeny, Texas site to act as a subject matter expert in electrical systems and power distribution. You will provide technical leadership to keep the site’s electrical distribution reliable and safe while driving improvements across critical assets.

You will maintain and improve electrical infrastructure health, participate in power studies and predictive maintenance programs, and contribute to long-range asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of engineering experience in a refinery or chemical plant.

Responsibilities

• Implements corporate Mechanical Integrity program at the site.
• Collects and analyzes reliability metrics to identify bad actors.
• Participates in development and implementation of predictive maintenance programs.
• Coordinates with site stakeholders to maintain proper stocking levels of parts for maximum uptime.
• Plans and coordinates projects from inception to completion, including CAPEX.
