Job summary

International Paper in Cantonment, FL is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability, availability, and maintainability of mill electrical assets. You will partner with maintenance, operations, and project teams to drive reliability improvements and cost-effective equipment performance.

The role requires field interaction in an industrial setting, root cause analysis, development of corrective actions, and leadership in safety and asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical engineering or reliability engineering experience.
• Knowledge of industrial power distribution systems and motor control equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CMMS.
• Technical expertise in electrical systems and reliability mindset.
• Data-driven decision making and project management skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
• Commitment to safety excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support a strong safety culture.
• Lead efforts to improve the reliability and performance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Develop asset strategies for motors, drives, switchgear, transformers, and MCCs.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies and review PM/PdM tasks.
• Provide technical expertise for medium- and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Support mill capital projects from concept through startup and commissioning.
