Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor-degree in Engineering with 5+ years in maintenance/reliability OR 15+ years in electrical maintenance/reliability without a degree
• Proven experience with low/medium/high voltage switchgear, transformers, synchronous motors, and induction motors
• Knowledge of electrical preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies, tools, and technologies
• Ability to work independently and in technical teams to manage tasks and drive results
• Experience using CMMS systems and proficiency with MS Office and email
• Ability to manage multiple technical tasks with minimal supervision and deliver results
• Strong communication for technical documentation is required

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and reliable operations of electrical systems across multiple facilities
• Serve as primary technical resource for electrical distribution equipment
• Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Identify and resolve chronic electrical asset issues and repetitive failures
• Plan and execute small electrical projects (<$500k) for reliability
• Plan long-term corrective actions for reliability threats
• Analyze equipment performance data for regional assets
• Assist with maintenance cost estimation and turnaround planning
• Lead Root Cause Analysis for major electrical failures
• Travel ~25% domestically to support Magna, UT and surrounding region
