Responsibilities

Manages and administers estimating functions in the region, including budgets, staffing, and work assignments.
Coordinates with project managers on price negotiations for purchase orders and subcontracts.
Prepares market cost studies and maintains the cost database; recommends changes.
Reviews final estimates and proposals for accuracy and completeness for formal quotation.
Maintains historical data for estimating man-hours across estimate types and bid results.
Contacts subcontractors and suppliers for outsource pricing.
