Job summary
Megger Group is seeking a Quality Test Engineer in Dallas to support the quality, reliability, and performance of electrical and electronic products throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. You will lead failure investigations, develop test methods, and drive corrective actions to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, extensive experience in electrical/electronics manufacturing, and a disciplined quality engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years in electrical/electronics manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting of electrical/electronic assemblies.
- Experience leading RCA using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone (Ishikawa) and Fault Tree Analysis (preferred).
- Experience with CAPA and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Responsibilities
- Investigate product failures from manufacturing, field returns, warranty, and customer complaints.
- Lead 8D, 5 Why and Fishbone RCA analyses and implement CAPAs.
- Develop, validate, and improve electrical and functional test procedures.
- Support production test stations and troubleshoot test equipment issues.
- Analyze assemblies to identify failure modes and drive design/process improvements.
- Prepare tests, engineering reports, and technical documentation.
