Electrical Manufacturing Engineer

The Vacancy Megger is looking for an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to improve the production of complex electrical test equipment utilized in the Electrical Generation and Distribution Industry. The position is a key contributor to the operations management team.

Responsibilities

• Support and drive troubleshooting effort of complex component, subassembly, and system assembly problems.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for quality, customer service, cost, safety, on time delivery, and compliance.
• Drive the standardization of processes and implementation of performance metrics.
• Create plans for electronics processing capital acquisition; specifications, sourcing, installation, and qualification.
• Create, maintain, and modify production work instructions for assembly and testing.
• Participate in manufacturability design reviews for new products with development engineering.
• Creation of safe work practices and hazardous conditions remediation.
• Analyze production processes for improvement of labor efficiency and material cost.
• Develop training materials for assembly personnel.
• Provide technical assistance to the quality department to support corrective action on product quality issues.

Qualifications
