Job summary

MOD42 seeks an Electrical Product Quality Lead to own QA across the electrical product lifecycle, from supplier selection to production, installation feedback, and CAPA. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will translate requirements into CTQs and release decisions while coordinating with multi-site QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, manufacturing, quality, or a related engineering discipline; equivalent technical experience may be considered.
• Six+ years of progressive electrical manufacturing, product quality, supplier quality, QA/QC, inspection, or testing experience, including ownership of quality decisions and cross-functional issue resolution.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, specifications, test records, and applicable safety requirements.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment and quality records, nonconformance documentation, and root-cause / corrective-action methods.
• Strong judgment, communication, documentation, and cross-functional problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved electrical drawings, specifications, bills of materials, customer requirements, and applicable standards into supplier acceptance criteria, CTQs, inspection and test plans, control plans, and release checklists.
• Establish electrical hold and witness points for components, wiring, grounding, labeling, enclosure workmanship, insulation resistance, and testing.
• Review and approve the supplier's ITP and data-package requirements, ensuring calibration and control of test equipment.
• Maintain acceptance criteria with approved engineering changes, deviations, or nonconformance dispositions.
