Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Inspector to ensure safety, quality, and compliance across electrical and mechanical assemblies. You will perform field inspections, read blueprints, and verify conformance to project specifications, procedures, and NEC codes.

Responsibilities include monitoring operations, documenting results, and reporting data. Ideal candidates have a technical degree or equivalent experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Technical Discipline or quality related experience preferred.
• At least 4 years hands-on experience in electrical industry.
• Ability to obtain Virginia state Journeyman License within 6 months of hire.
• Experience reading and interpreting contract requirements, drawings, NEC codes, and standards.
• Experience with receiving, production, shipping and quality processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Read blueprints and specifications.
• Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
• Document approval or rejection of inspected material and components.
• Collect data and participate in daily ORM meetings.
• Identify non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions.
• Assist in training operators and provide guidance.
• Coordinate with supervisor to cover shifts for inspectors.
