Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure that installations meet project specifications and safety requirements.

You will perform field inspections, read blueprints and specifications, document results, and coordinate with QA and foremen to drive continuous improvement. Experience in electrical industries, an Associate degree, and the ability to obtain a journeyman license within 6 months are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Technical Discipline or related quality experience.
• At least 4 years hands-on experience in the electrical industry.
• Ability to obtain state Journeyman License within 6 months of hire.
• Experience reading contractual requirements, drawings, NEC codes, and standards.
• Experience with receiving, production, shipping and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety policies.
• Read blueprints and specifications to verify workmanship and materials.
• Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
• Document approval or rejection of inspected materials and report data.
• Identify non-conforming components and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with QA, foreman, and supervisors to review plans and specs.
• Participate in daily ORM meetings and share quality tips related to scope of work.
