Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical QC Supervisor to lead day-to-day quality control on assigned construction projects in the Rock Hill, SC area.

You will supervise QC staff, ensure contract compliance, and drive implementation of the 3-Phase QC process, coordinating with project leadership, GCs, and owners to deliver defect-free results. The role requires a strong background in electrical construction, QC systems for government contracts, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years electrical or related construction experience on similar projects; high school diploma or GED required.
• Extensive knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System on military bases and government contracts.
• Journeyman Electrical License preferred; graduate from a certified Apprenticeship Program preferred.
• Must pass basic background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all project quality control activities to ensure contract compliance and company standards.
• Oversee QC Inspectors, assign work, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
• Direct application of the 3-Phase Quality Control process across all Definable Features of Work.
• Review design/construction documents for constructability, risks, and contract compliance; escalate issues as needed.
• Establish and maintain project-specific quality plans, inspection procedures, and checklists.
• Oversee field inspections, document deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions.
