Job summary
Electronic Power Design, Inc. seeks an experienced Quality Control Lead Inspector to lead inspection activities, mentor a team of inspectors, and ensure compliance with customer specs and industry standards. You will drive continuous improvement and uphold EPD’s quality requirements.
The role requires 2+ years in quality control with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, along with strong knowledge of inspection techniques, electrical systems, and ERP documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of quality control experience.
- 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and electrical systems.
- Experience with ERP systems and quality documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise quality control inspectors.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Foster a culture of accountability and quality excellence.
- Oversee advanced visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
- Investigate nonconformities and verify corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with UL-891, ANSI/NEMA, and IEC standards.
- Manage inspection documentation and reporting.
- Monitor inspection metrics and quality trends.
- Ensure accurate ERP system records.
