Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Quality Control Inspector 1 for a Burlington, TX project to perform inspections and verify compliance with the QC program, ensuring durable and safe installations.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, documenting results, and collaborating with QA and foremen to uphold quality standards across operations. Requirements include an Associate Degree in a technical discipline, 4+ years in electrical, and the ability to obtain a Journeyman license within 6 months, with

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
• 4+ years hands-on experience in the electrical industry.
• Ability to obtain a state Journeyman License within 6 months of hire.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings, BIM models, specifications, NEC and other standards.
• Experience with receiving, production, shipping and quality processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications.
• Document inspection results and non-conformances; submit data as required.
• Coordinate with QA, foreman and project team to ensure quality and safety.
• Participate in ORM meetings and daily quality briefings; provide 2–3 quality tips.
