Job summary

Rogers Electric in Texas is seeking an Electrical QAQC Engineer to join our team. You will oversee onsite quality control, review drawings, specs, submittals, and RFIs to ensure project requirements are met.

You will coordinate testing and inspections with the GC and QC manager, perform site audits, ensure safety, and support project success. The role requires hands-on electrical experience, strong communication, and readiness to travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
• Hands-on experience as an Electrical Foreman with QC teams during punch list/turnover.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with GCs, PMs, foremen, and leadership.
• Familiarity with construction software.
• Experience with construction project management tools (Procore preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills.
• Flexibility to travel and work nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Solid technical knowledge of electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all onsite quality control processes.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs for compliance.
• Evaluate and approve technical documents, including shop drawings and reports.
• Track and verify delivered equipment against approved documentation; report discrepancies.
• Coordinate testing and inspections with GC and quality manager.
• Perform routine site audits to ensure quality installations and safety.
• Attend safety training and follow policies.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
