Job summary

Regal Rexnord's Thomson Power Systems near Arlington, TX, seeks an Electrical Tester to ensure quality across switchboard and panelboard manufacturing. You will work with the Quality Supervisor and cross-functional teams to drive safe, timely projects and mentor new staff during onboarding.

The role requires 5+ years of electrical testing experience, strong 3-phase knowledge, and hands-on use of meters, insulation and hi-pot testers.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; technical electrical certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of testing experience in electrical assembly.
• Strong knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools (multimeters, insulation testers, hi-pot testers).
• Strong ability to read complex electrical schematics and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily testing and inspection of switchboards and panelboards and related sub-assemblies.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards.
• Review and approve electrical test reports, inspection checklists, and quality documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues identified during testing and coordinate corrective actions with production team.
• Train new team members on testing procedures and inspections.
• Maintain and enforce QC procedures for testing on finished products.
