Marathon Electrical Contractors LLC in Alabama is seeking a results-driven Quality Assurance Manager to oversee QA activities on electrical contracting projects in the Southeast. This role requires coordinating with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure compliance with QC plans.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction QA, strong electrical knowledge, and a solid work ethic. Degrees are not required; compensation is based on experience.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• QA Manager will work closely with project team members (project managers, engineers, superintendents).
• Review of contract documents (drawings, specifications, engineering reports, etc.).
• Manage the implementation of the project's QC plan and ensure team compliance.
• Conduct regular meetings and issue minutes.
• Review of the specifications and project submittals.
• Inspection of installed work.
• Training for jobsite personnel on QC issues.
• Development and management of defective items.
• Resolve complex quality-related issues in the field with the design team, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Coordinate inspection activities with the third-party inspectors.
• Participate as a member of the start-up and commissioning team for ME?P and low voltage systems.
• Professionally represent Marathon Electrical Contractors as interface with owner, design team, and general contractors.
