Job summary

Novus Technical Services seeks an experienced Electrical Inspector to verify high-reliability electrical infrastructure for semiconductor tool installations in cleanroom environments. You will inspect power distribution, control wiring, cable routing, and bonding while ensuring adherence to NEC, SEMI standards, and project specifications.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, witnessing performance testing, and coordinating with engineering to resolve non-conformances.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical inspection experience in semiconductor or high-tech environments.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical standards.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with cleanroom environments and contamination control.
• NICET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect installation of electrical systems supporting semiconductor tools, including power distribution and wiring.
• Verify compliance with NEC, NFPA 70, project specs and SEMI standards.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, and tool installation packages.
• Inspect cable tray installations, conduit routing, grounding/bonding, and panel terminations.
• Ensure proper testing of cleanroom-rated components and systems.
• Coordinate with engineering to resolve installation non-conformances.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
• Support commissioning activities and energization readiness.
• Enforce safety practices including LOTO and arc flash compliance.
