Job summary

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and construction drawings.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and electrical specifications.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work safely in active construction environments.
• 2–5 years electrical construction experience.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Bluebeam, etc.
• Pre-employment background and MVR checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot-check inspections of electrical terminations for workmanship and standards compliance.
• Serve as Torque Lead ensuring proper torque procedures and documentation.
• Verify cable identification and verification processes.
• Conduct visual inspections for vendor installation deficiencies, busbar issues, and loose connections.
• Verify proper phasing, CT orientation, and conduct tug tests.
• Review overcurrent protection device sizing against single-line diagrams.
• Assist with project redlines and as-built documentation, including panel schedules and raceways.
• Support receiving, inspection, and verification of project assets and equipment.
• Assist with panel access, removal, and restoration for client/third party inspections.
• Assist in collecting and transferring equipment keys to GC or project representative.
• Inspect installations for color coding, lug selection, cable dressing, hardware usage, and labeling.
