Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time QA/QC Inspector Level 2 to perform spot-check inspections of electrical terminations, serve as Torque Lead, and verify cable identification for projects, including data centers and industrial facilities.

You will review single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and electrical specs, ensure safety standards, assist with redlines and as-built docs, and support asset receiving and inspections, with a focus on workmanship, proper lug

Qualifications

Qualified Journeyman Electrician or equivalent electrical construction experience.
Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and electrical specifications.
Working knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform spot-check inspections of electrical terminations to verify workmanship and standards.
Serve as Torque Lead to ensure proper torque procedures are followed and documented.
Verify cable identification and verification processes are completed accurately.
Inspect for proper lug selection, cable dressing, and hardware usage.
Assist with project redlines, as-built documentation, and panel schedules validation.
