IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc., seeks a full-time QA/QC Inspector Level 2 for on-site work in the United States.

The role involves spot-check inspections of electrical terminations, torque lead duties, cable verification, and visual inspections to ensure compliance with project standards. Candidate must be a qualified Journeyman Electrician with knowledge of electrical codes, diagrams, and construction drawings.

Qualifications

• Qualified Journeyman Electrician or equivalent electrical construction experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, and construction drawings.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and electrical specifications.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot-check inspections of electrical terminations to verify workmanship and compliance.
• Serve as Torque Lead, ensuring proper torque procedures are followed and documented.
• Verify cable identification and verification processes are completed accurately.
• Conduct visual inspections for vendor installation deficiencies and workmanship concerns.
• Inspect proper phasing, CT orientation, and cable tug tests in preparation for inspections.
• Review overcurrent protection device sizing against approved single-line diagrams.
• Assist with project redlines and as-built documentation, including panel schedules validation.
• Support receiving, inspection, and verification of project assets and equipment.
