Job summary

Beitzel Corporation seeks a QA/QC Technician II - Electrical for our Field Services team. You will monitor electrical work in the field to ensure it meets specs, NEC, and company standards on utility-scale solar and other projects.

Expect extensive travel and out-of-town work, with long hours when projects demand it. You’ll collaborate with project managers and crews, performing inspections and documenting results to uphold quality across challenging sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a construction QA/QC capacity with 2+ years on electrical scopes.
• Strong NEC knowledge and field inspection background.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to administer Project Specific Quality Plans.
• Verify hold and witness points for electrical scopes before energizing.
• Perform routine field inspections against drawings and specs.
• Document inspections with reports and photos for review.
• Identify nonconforming work and track corrective actions to closure.
• Capture COPQ events and report costs for rework and schedule impact.
