Job summary

Beitzel Corporation is seeking a QA/QC Technician II - Electrical to join the Field Services team. The role focuses on ensuring electrical work meets project specifications, company standards, and NEC requirements on utility-scale solar, industrial, and commercial projects.

Candidates should have 5+ years in construction QA/QC with at least 2 years in electrical scopes, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel and work extended hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a construction QA/QC capacity, with a minimum of 2 years supporting electrical scopes of work.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC practices and NEC knowledge.
• Experience conducting field inspections against drawings, specs, and manufacturer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to administer and monitor Project Specific Quality Plans, including hold points and inspection schedules.
• Verify that hold points and witness points for electrical scopes are met before work is covered or energized.
• Perform routine field inspections of electrical installations against approved drawings and manufacturer requirements.
• Document inspections with field reports and photos and submit to quality system for review.
• Identify nonconforming work, document it, and track corrective actions through closure.
• Capture and report COPQ events including rework, materials, and schedule impact.
