Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Electric Heat manufacturing team. You will perform inspections and electrical testing to verify conformance to drawings, specifications, and standards, while supporting continuous improvement.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, strong electrical knowledge, and meticulous attention to detail, with experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing QA or inspection preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with inspection/testing equipment and MS Office.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspections and electrical testing to verify conformance to drawings, specs, and standards.
• Identify and report quality concerns, defects, or non-conformances during inspections.
• Document data from inspections and testing; maintain accurate quality records.
• Support audits and compliance activities with proper documentation and retention.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams on improvements.
• Review supplier certifications and verify conformance of purchased materials.
