Job summary

Royal Electric Company is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field teams across multifamily, commercial, and service projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You will organize crews, coordinate with PMs, and enforce safety and quality on every phase of the work.

Ideal candidates bring 8 years in electrical construction, proven leadership of crews, and strong scheduling with MS Project or Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• 8 years of construction trade or project experience in the electrical industry, preferably commercial, multi-family, or airport projects.
• Experience leading crews of 1-20 journeymen/apprentice on projects ranging $1-$12 million or multiple projects.
• Must be able to forecast 3 to 12 months and coordinate resources.
• Proficient in scheduling and have experience using scheduling platforms (MS Project or P6).

Responsibilities

• Structure the job site crews for best execution and manage systems/phases with foremen and field engineers.
• Coach and develop direct reports with formal performance tools and development plans.
• Coordinate manpower with the GS to meet project demands and collaborate with PM/PE for project success.
• Build strong partnerships with the client and vendors for effective information sharing and problem-solving.
• Integrate virtual construction and prefabrication into production plans with GS support.
• Plan safety into every task, identify hazards and required certifications, ensure PPE compliance.
• Monitor field team performance and ensure role clarity for field leaders.
• Create and maintain a WBS and production plan; determine quantities and resources for activities.
• Review and update project schedule, WBS, and CTC with PM; ensure accuracy.
• Create BOM with PM buy-in and manage on-site material coordination.
• Ensure daily documentation (timecards, reports) and compliance with company policies.
• Assist in project closeout planning and adapt tasks to project needs.
