Job summary

Lvi-Associates is seeking an Electrical Project Manager (Subcontractor) in Virginia to oversee large-scale commercial and industrial electrical construction projects across the state. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate field teams, and ensure schedule, budget, and safety targets are met.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical construction project management, with experience on projects valued at $10M+ and a solid grasp of NEC/OSHA regulations. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing electrical projects valued at $10M+ or larger.
  • Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License preferred (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Lead multiple electrical projects simultaneously, including data center, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, institutional, and commercial developments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consulting engineers.
  • Oversee project schedules, manpower planning, procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Manage project financial performance including change orders, billing, contract administration, and project profitability.
  • Coordinate electrical field operations, superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, and construction documents.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for repeat business and client development.
  • Travel to project sites as required.

A leading electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial and industrial electrical construction projects throughout Virginia. Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Lead multiple electrical projects simultaneously, including mission critical, data center, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, institutional, and commercial developments
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consulting engineers
  • Oversee project schedules, manpower planning, procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Manage project financial performance including change orders, billing, contract administration, and project profitability
  • Coordinate electrical field operations, superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors
  • Participate in project meetings, planning sessions, strategy discussions, and client presentations
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, and construction documents
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for repeat business and client development
  • Support estimating, preconstruction, and business development initiatives as needed
  • Travel to project sites as required
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing electrical projects valued at $10M+ or larger
  • Experience with ground-up construction, renovations, tenant improvements, and mission critical/data center projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, power distribution, switchgear, lighting, controls, generators, UPS systems, and low-voltage systems
  • Knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and construction safety requirements
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, procurement, and labor forecasting
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, scheduling tools, and construction management platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
